Phobias

Many folk have phobias

A fear of this or that,

Arachnophobia, spiders, 

Chirop-tophobia, - bat


Amaxo-phobia is the fear

Of riding in a car,

Hodo-phobia, that's the fear 

 Of distance, going too far


One I'm pleased, no longer have,

Gloso-phobia, bring,

The fear of public speaking,

Brain freeze, or stammering.


Claustrophobia, closed in space

And believe this fact or not,

Naturists have "Clothes-trophobia"

When coverings, they've forgot.

 The title of this ode, is a song by WHAM from the '80's.      WAKE ME UP BEFORE YOU GO GO   I heard that song this morning  On local radio Evoking strong memory Of really long ago. Addenda to 'Who is this man'

Who is this Man Addenda (in blue) to an anthem by Mary Kay Beall entitled Who is this Man? sung in my home church choir a few years ago. Who is this man upon a cross By love's decree, brought low? They say He came to save the world Because God loved us so The King of Kings And Lord of Lords Eternally He'll reign Can it be true He died for me And yes, would die again Who is this man upon the cross? He is a friend to me And though I oft Him disappoint His love has set me free The King of Kings And Lord of Lords He took my sin and pain And yes it's true He died for me, But will return again
