A GRATEFUL HEART

A GRATEFUL heart, a thankful soul,

Giving alms, your utmost goal,

Helping those with less to show,

Fell on hard times? just who will know?

"But I have toiled for all I've gained,

Laboured hard, I have attained

My wealth, prosperity, and so

You want me, some of it, let go?"

"Why couldn't they have done the same,

It's LIFE, and it is NOT a game,

You do receive your just reward,

Work hard, prestige on you'll be poured."

My friend, You see that guy o'er there?

At one time, he had not a care

Of where his next meal would be found,

'til BOOM........ his business fell to ground.

'Twas not his fault, he'd planned ahead,

But instantly - his business, - dead,

He too, had helped others in need,

Not knowing, soon, he'd also plead.

So spare a thought, for who's to know

Which road your life is going to go,

In twinkling eye, it all could change,

And life for you could look so strange.
