Progression?

AMAZING, we survived, indeed

We HAD to ‘THINK’, to WRITE, AND READ,

Walk to library’s, get a book,

ALSO, we were taught to COOK.


Thread a needle, darn a sock,

To do that NOW, they’d die of shock.

They PRINT when writing - cursive's GONE
Their BOOKS, - on line,  Real print's a "yawn",

The 'fast food' industry, it did GROW,
Home made meals? - to cook, - too slow.
And YET they SAY, "progression's made"
Personally, I'd give them  'F' grade.

Also, their spelling, "a-tro-shush"
Use numbers, making words,
They will not w8, if U R L8,
Clockface, for them, absurd.

Oh to return to bygone days,
Which weren't THAT long ago,
And while change wasn't just as FAST,
It wasn't 'snail's pace' SLOW.

Who is this Man Addenda (in blue) to an anthem by Mary Kay Beall entitled Who is this Man? sung in my home church choir a few years ago. Who is this man upon a cross By love's decree, brought low?
